1,000 flowers
bloom,
hidden
before your very eyes.

Drop in any picture and it gets rebuilt out of nearly two hundred flower photographs that I've taken during summers in North Carolina. Every tile is matched to the colors of your original. Download the result at full resolution — big enough to print.

No upload Your photo stays on your device. The mosaic is assembled by your own browser — there is no upload button here, and no application backend that receives your picture.

Fine-tune the look
More tiles means a closer likeness; fewer means each flower stays recognizable.
How many pixels each flower gets. This is what sets your final print size.
Washes each tile toward the color it stands in for. Higher is a truer likeness, lower keeps the flowers vivid.
Picks at random among the closest matches, so repeated colors don't turn into a flat patch.
Nudges the mosaic toward using every flower rather than leaning on a favorite few.
Same settings and same shuffle always give the same mosaic. Move it for a different arrangement.

Gallery Happy with how it came out? and I may add it to the gallery below. Nothing leaves on its own — this opens your own mail app or share sheet, with the picture attached where your device allows it. Otherwise attach the file you just downloaded. bloom@ppr3.com
